The Mastercraft story

Mastercraft was the brainchild of Murray Belz, a Chief’s supporter with an eye for design, a tonne of ideas and a passion for excellence.

In 1985 Murray opened Mastercraft Kitchens in Tauranga. Then in 1989, he established a licensee group of kitchen design and manufacture businesses, bringing together the ‘best of the best’ in the industry. A group that would become synonymous with trust, excellence, and outstanding design.

Fast forward to the present, Mastercraft Services NZ Ltd has a National Support Office supporting a nationwide base of 29 Kitchen Licensees, 30 Electrical Licensees and 5 Plumbing Licensees.

Ever moved into an area and wanted a reliable tradesperson. I did and wanted the essentials confirmed as in order. Electrics were an essential. Marcus arrived on a day when my heat pump was to be installed. A problem was that there was a 1970’s wall-light in the way. He just dropped everything to make sure the installation could go ahead. He has uninstalled unsafe wiring. Installed safe power and light circuits and left me with a 1971 property with wiring I can rely on. He responds to calls, arrives on time and leaves you at peace with your electrics.
